There is something incredibly poetic about this Montreal old port proposal. It’s the story of two people sharing the same hallways in New Brunswick during high school, only to truly find each other years later and hundreds of kilometres away. While they were acquaintances back home, it wasn’t until they both found themselves living in Montréal at the same time that the stars finally aligned.

The Old Port wasn’t a random choice for this surprise. On one of their very first dates, Josée and Olivia walked these same cobblestone streets, getting to know each other in the shadow of the city’s historic architecture. By bringing Josée back to the waterfront for what she thought was just a casual stroll, Olivia was actually tracing the steps of their early romance.

As they reached the iconic Clock Tower, the casual day in town shifted into a milestone. Surrounded by the same sights that defined their first dates, Olivia dropped to one knee, turning a place of memories into the foundation for their future.
